Von Winning is among the most representative winery of Pfalz. Born back in 1849, Von Winning has always been in step with the times both for vineyard management and for vinification in the cellar. Respect for nature, no use of synthetic products in the vineyards, density of 9.500 plants per hectare (as at the end of 19th century) as well as exclusive use of traditional methods in the cellar (natural fermentation in 500 liters oak barrels, rest on the lees for up to 2 years before bottling). The result is pure terroir wines: elegant, mineral and deep.
