The first grape harvest of Fred Prinz was in 1991, even though he always worked as a manager and then as production manager in a nearby winery until 2004. He worked hard with his wife Sabine on building the company that carries his name. The vineyard, which has an average age of 40 years, gives grapes with an extraordinary complexity and mineral content, qualities that more than anything characterize the “garage wines” of this small producer, close to the Rhine. A young, but well-established company where the future is in good, young hands since the two children Anna and Florian are at their father’s side, now consecrated as a great interpreter of this terroir.
