THE COMPANY

We are at the southernmost point in Africa: nestled in the highest peak of the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, we come to a unique valley enclosed in long stretches of sky, peaks and breathtaking ocean views. The cool maritime climate, the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and soil rich in clay and limestone make this valley a prime location for growing pinot noir. Daniele Lenuzza, a winemaker from Friuli, together with his wife Tanika from South Africa, implements a vinification of pinot noir that involves 30 percent whole cluster and a 15-month maturation in used French oak resulting in a wine with beautiful tension and delicacy that represents, far from Europe, a great interpretation of this extraordinary grape variety.
