Van Nahmen

GERMANY – NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN – HAMMINKELN

THE COMPANY

The Van Nahmen family has a long tradition of fruit processing. Founded in 1917, it began producing juices in 1934, initially as a contract juicing plant. Even today, orchard owners in the Rhineland and MĂ¼nsterland regions rely on Van Nahmen to transform their fruit into juice. The third and fourth generations have continued the tradition as highly regarded juice producers, ensuring that ripe fruit is turned into superior quality juice, according to internal standards that are stricter than those imposed by law. The utmost care in the selection of suppliers, fruit selected from the best locations and a constant search for ancient varieties to rediscover: this is Van Nahmen today, with the absolute purity of fruit without artificial flavourings. The distinction between juice and nectar is fundamental: juice is always 100% fruit, obtained from the first pressing without the addition of water; nectar, although also coming from the first pressing, is diluted with water as required by law. What makes the company unique is that, unlike many producers, Van Nahmen makes juices from 100% of the declared fruit, without using apple as a neutral base, preserving the identity and authenticity of each variety.
