THE COMPANY

Founded in 1891 by Vincent Jacoulot, this small distillery, situated south of Macon, is a reference point for both Marc and Fine de Bourgogne as well as a great interpreter of fruit distillates. The Jacoulot Family, not being able to continue in the activity founded by the great-grandfather, decided in 1995 to hand the reins to Jean Luc Cocagne who continued the work of the founder until 2013, year in which he passed his hand definitively to Vançon family now devoting full attention to the Maison in Romanèche. Anne and Philippe, helped by their two sons, still students but already part of Jacoulot World, have only one aim: quality and craftsmanship. A small artisan “haute-couture” that well interprets the French tradition through a perfect management of all processes, from distillation to aging, with the result of products of extraordinary quality.
