THE COMPANY

The Gruber family has been cultivating its land in Röschitz since 1814, with roots in an agricultural tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation. Today, the winery is run by the three Gruber siblings: Ewald Jr., an oenologist, carefully oversees the vinification and style of the wines; Christian devotes himself to the vineyards, closely monitoring every detail of the cultivation process; while Maria coordinates public relations and day-to-day relations with customers and partners. This family synergy, supported by a shared vision, has a clear objective: to produce excellent wines in a sustainable and certified organic environment. The winery manages over 80 hectares of vineyards around Röschitz and also collaborates with other local producers to ensure a constant supply of high-quality grapes, thus guaranteeing complete and meticulous control over every stage of the production process. Röschitz, located at the eastern foot of the Manhartsberg massif, offers extraordinary natural conditions for viticulture: soils rich in primary rock, granite and loess, combined with a cool and breezy climate that gives the wines a distinct elegance and a vibrant, fruity profile. The range offered by the Gruber family includes the main varieties of the Weinviertel — Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir — interpreted with a style that favours freshness, aromatic purity and a pleasant balanced acidity, distinctive traits that have made the winery a benchmark in the region.
