THE COMPANY

Leaving his native Georgia for Burgundy and then Languedoc, Evgueni Louis Max selected the finest wines, combining Burgundian expertise with the terroirs of the South. This spirit won over David Duband, a talented Burgundian winegrower who has been running his family business since 1991. Duband brought his passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to the terroirs of southern France, perpetuating the founder’s legacy. In Languedoc, between the sea and the Massif Central, unique microclimates, shaped by sun and wind, welcome these Burgundian varieties. Through meticulous selection and careful vinification, wines with a fresh and accessible style are created. The alliance between Duband’s winemaking expertise and the historical experience of Maison Louis Max brings out the best in these grapes in the South of France, combining tradition and innovation.
