THE COMPANY

Juchepie is the name of the hill located in the heart of the “Coteaux du Layon”, south of Angers; a place dedicated for centuries to the cultivation of the vine and well known for producing sweet and fortified wines; it is also focused on dry wines for some time now. Eddy and Mileine are among the exponents of this new deal: they devote themselves with extreme care to the vineyard, since they believe in the idea of terroir and think that wine as to be made in the vineyard, considering the cellar as no more than a completion. Shales, alternating with volcanic rocks and surface clay, characterize these lands and translate into fine, salty and mineral wines. The vineyards are south oriented and delimited on three sides by hills: all of this makes the Domaine one of the most representative Chenin producer in Anjou in the Loire Valley.
