THE COMPANY

The Good Spirits collection is a journey through the most famous rum-producing regions, where tradition, technique and terroir come together. In Demerara, Guyana, Demerara Distiller LTD uses stills that have been in operation since the late 19th century. Here, the rums are distinguished by their smoothness and spicy notes, elegant balance and unique character. In Barbados, Foursquare combines column stills and pot stills and uses different barrels for ageing, creating structured, complex and persistent rums that are examples of modernity and craftsmanship. Jamaican rums are instantly recognisable: spices, pepper and ginger emerge from prolonged fermentation of molasses, giving them a bold and distinctive character. In Guatemala, the only national distillery, Industrias Licorera, distils with copper pot stills and ages its rums at 2,300 metres above sea level using the Solera method, resulting in products of great elegance and aromatic complexity. Finally, in Martinique, rare rhum agricole is made from fresh cane juice in Creole column stills, with herbaceous notes and green nuances, an authentic expression of the terroir and local tradition. Each bottle in the Good Spirits collection tells a piece of the world’s story, where history, technique and territory come together in a unique sensory journey.
