THE COMPANY

Leaving his native Georgia for Burgundy and then Languedoc, Evgueni Louis Max selected the best wines by combining Burgundian savoir-faire with the lands of the South. This spirit won over David Duband, a talented Burgundian winemaker who has been running his family business since 1991. Working with Louis Max since 2014, Duband has brought his passion for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to the terroirs of the South of France, perpetuating the founder’s legacy. In the Languedoc, between the sea and the Massif Central, unique microclimates shaped by sun and wind welcome these Burgundian varieties. Through meticulous selection and careful vinification, wines with a fresh and accessible style are created, enhancing the purity of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The alliance between Duband’s winemaking mastery and the historical experience of Maison Louis Max brings out the best of these grapes in the South of France, combining tradition and innovation.
