Domaine Olivier is located on the edge of the Normandy hills, on sometimes steep slopes consisting of sandstone rocks. Here, the cultivation of apples for cider and pears for poiré has been perpetuated for generations, and today Thierry and Fabienne, who head the Domaine, continue in the tradition by seeking fruity and precise flavors. The Domaine, certified in organic farming since 2015, has always practiced sustainable agriculture for the aims to be environmentally friendly and socially equitable. On the properties, animals graze among the trees, fertilize the soil and consume the fallen fruits, thus maintaining the orchards naturally.
